Jairo A. Giraldo recieved the undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering in 2010 at the Universidad nacional de Colombia in Manizales. He received his master degree in Engineering at the Unviersidad de los Andes, where he is currently a PhD student under the advise of Nicanor Quijano. His current research interests include Networked Control Systems, Bio-inspired and Evolutionary Algorithms, Dynamic Resource Allocation problems, Multi-agent Systems, and Control and Cyber-Security of the Smart Grid.
